CandyStore.com did the research to not only project that Americans will spend $3.6 billion on Halloween candy this year, but they also figured out the overall favorite candy in each state! You can see the full map of each state's favorite candies HERE, but the highlights are that M&Ms are the overall most popular candy being the favorite in 7 states, Sour Patch Kids follow with 6 states, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, my personal favorite, are the third most loved being the favorite in 5 states.
Some other noteworthy favorites are that Missouri and Connecticut are the only states to love Almond Joy, Candy Corn is only the favorite in Utah, Milky Ways only stand out in Colorado, while Georgia is the only state to have Jolly Ranchers listed as their favorite. See more below!
