Gender reveals are now a debated thing, since some have involved pyrotechnics and caused injury and disaster, but there's no debating that having a baby and being able to find out if it's a boy or a girl is an exciting time! That's why it's no surprise some artists take the opportunity to help reveal this news to their fans. Harry Styles recently did this for a fan and it was huge! Brad Paisley and other country artists have also helped share the news, and the latest artist to do this for some of his fans is Dierks Bentley! Plot twist: the baby whose gender he revealed...is mine!!
He performed the last show of his Beers On Me Tour in Rogers, Arkansas this past Friday, October 22nd. It just so happened to be the tour stop my husband and I were going to, and also the same day we had our 20 week ultrasound to check on the baby's progress - as well as find out the gender! Since the timing worked out the way it did, even though we got our tickets before I was even pregnant, we thought it would be really cool to try to incorporate one of our favorite artists into the reveal! We were able to get our sealed envelope to Dierks and he decided to share our news on stage!! The whole concert leading up to the reveal, we were so nervous about whether or not it would happen, or how it would happen, that we kept forgetting we would find out if we were having a boy or a girl!! It's true when they say you really just hope for a healthy baby and will be happy no matter the gender, but it is still exciting (and surprising) to find out. I think our reactions in the video below say it all!
