Lots of assisted-living facilities have stopped allowing visitors in their buildings to lower the risk of the coronavirus being introduced to the residents. Sadly, this means lots of family members are missing their loved ones. However, Mary Daniel decided that rather than be sad about it, she was going to do something! She applied to be a part time dishwasher at the Jacksonville, Florida facility her husband lives at. He is suffering from early-onset Alzheimer's and before the visitors ban, Mary visited him every day to tuck him into bed. Now she gets to see him twice a week after cleaning the kitchen and scrubbing the dishes. This story gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes! Such a beautiful show of love!
