You've probably seen stories online before about restaurants having baskets for you phones so you don't look at them at dinner, or groups making "first one to look at their phone pays" rules, but it turns out that putting your phone down while you eat could be beneficial to your health as much as it benefits your relationships! A new study published in Physiology & Behavior found that people who were distracted by their phones while eating, ended up eating more than those who weren't distracted.
