The University of Virginia did research that found viruses can survive outside of the body for weeks, so that means they can survive on inanimate objects. One of the things they tested was winter accessories and found they were full of germs! Think about it, you touch so many things with your gloves, or set your winter gear on so many surfaces when you're inside, then they touch your hands, face, and mouth!
