Friends Find Out Thrifty Man Donated $11 Million to Charity After He Died

Alan Naiman was a former social worker who was known for being thrifty. He bought t-shirts at the grocery store and duct taped his shoes to get more wear out of them. But he was a good man who loved kids and cared for his developmentally disabled brother until his passing in 2013. So although friends were not surprised to hear that Naiman left money to charities when he passed away from cancer last January at the age of 63, they were surprised to hear the amount! Thanks to his thriftiness and some smart investments he was able to leave $11 million to several groups like pediatric care centers and foster care organizations.
