Hackers are targeting Netflix subscribers via an effective-looking phishing scam that aims to take credit card numbers and personal information.
- Name on credit card
- Card number
- Card expiration date
- Card security code
- Social Security Number
Once the information is updated, it brings users to the Netflix homepage. They are saying the email is so well thought out that e-mail accounts have a difficult time recognizing the scam as spam.
Netflix says they will never ask for personal information over an email. Update your account only on a verified website. more here
