Alan Jackson is set to receive CMTâs Artist of a Lifetime honor during the upcoming 2022 CMT Artists of the Year celebration.
âI believe Iâve made more videos than just about anybody, and I know how important they have been in bringing my songs to life for the fans, so thank you, CMT, for all the years and for this sweet honor,â Jackson said in a statement, per CMT. âIâm very proud.â
Jackson has tallied dozens of No. 1 hits and nearly 60 music videos throughout his career, including fan-favorite songs like âChasinâ That Neon Rainbow,â âChattahoochee,â and âDonât Rock The Jukebox.â His three-decade career in country music is set to be celebrated during the event next month.

As his songs continue to inspire new generations of fans, we are privileged to celebrate his lifetime of accomplishments.â
Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Walker Hayes were previously named as honorees for the 2022 CMT Artists of the Year. The ceremony is set to take place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Itâs happening on Friday, October 14.
CMT will announce additional performers, presenters and honorees in the coming weeks, according to the announcement on Thursday (September 20).
