In a new survey from MarketWatch, they found that the most popular cocktail/mixed drink in almost all bigger cities is the margarita! This is true for Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York, among others. However, Chicago is a big fan of the old-fashioned. The other top cocktails include martinis, mojitos, and mimosas. I think we can credit the rise in popularity of brunch to mimosas being among the top choices on the list. I wonder if Bloody Mary's will ever break in to the top too? What's your go to cocktail? When I'm not drinking red wine I am a huge fan of martinis, I've also gotten in to a specific brand of gin and tonic lately too!
