Health Experts Worry Health Trackers Will Lead to Hypochondria

The new Apple Watch monitors users' heartbeats and can let them know if they have heart trouble. It's actually saved lives in some situations, but health officials worry it could also be a problem. They say it's causing people to become hypochondriacs and think that they are sicker than they actually are. Not only does this lead to wasted time for health care providers as well as the hypochondriacs themselves, but higher stress levels actually aren't good for you. Maybe it's a stretch, but I'm sure health experts have had to deal with a lot of this since the internet became readily available and sites like WebMD have become popular, so they may be on to something.
