If you've ever tried to turn down pizza or donuts when they show up at work, you probably already knew this...
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the results from a study where they found that the free food at work isn't healthy. The research shows that 25 percent o the study participants said they eat food from work about once a week, if not more, which amounts to 1,300 empty calories a week. Because most of those foods are high in fat and sugar. It also found that free food accounts for more that 70 percent of the junk food people consume when they are at work.
