There's no measuring or calorie counting, but it does seem like it's all about portion control. Suzy Wengel, a Danish dietician and the CEO of a biotech company, wrote the book The Scandi Diet which has a really simple approach. It says each meal should consist of four "handfuls". One handful of protein, one of carbs, two of vegetables, and just a spoonful of fat. Wengel herself says she lost 88 pounds in 10 months and kept the weight off doing this.
