Tweeting During The Game Actually Improves Engagement

So this probably translates for concerts too, right?

They might look rude or disinterested to others, but people who tweet during sporting events are apparently retaining more of what happened during the game. Here are the stats:


"Researchers monitored subjects by tracking their eye movement and brain activity during games. Those who were Tweeting were 31 percent more engaged in the action and were able to remember 35 percent more about what went on than those who weren’t on social media."
