Sean Combs has been known as Diddy & Puff Daddy among other variations. Now he's making the biggest name change so far.
Apparently he would now like to be known as "Love" or "Brother Love". He says he won't respond to anything else. I like the message of love, but just doesn't seem realistic to expect not to be referred to as one of his old names. Also, how insane must it be to be so famous you can just change your name on a whim. If most of us go by anything but our given names it's usually a nickname we didn't choose and don't even always like, but somehow it stuck. If you could change your name would you?
Although he made the announcement, he hasn't changed his name on social media, so we'll see how well this works!
