Darius Rucker is headed back to his hometown for a new TV show. Rucker’s Reno, a Design Network show, is set to premiere at the end of this month. “I’m a guy who likes stories, and I cant wait to tell this one,” the South Carolina-born artist said in the trailer for the show, calling downtown Charleston “my favorite place in the world.”

The Design Network describes:

“Darius Rucker is transforming a historical mansion in downtown Charleston from a vacant city landmark with a checkered past, into a modern treasure for his family to enjoy for years to come. Rucker’s Reno stares history in the face, but takes a unifying, positive approach to the way America has evolved socially and culturally through the lens of home design.”

“It’s always an honor when I get to showcase my hometown of Charleston to the world, and I’m thankful to the Design Network for such a great platform to do just that,” Rucker said in a statement. “The team on this project was so talented and made it such a fun, creative process from start to finish. I can’t wait for everyone to see the transformation!”

Rucker’s Reno is set to premiere on May 30. See the trailer for the upcoming show here:
