Kane Brown Surprises Fans, Joins Jason Aldean To Perform 'Dirt Road Anthem'

Jason Aldean had a special surprise for fans at his Knoxville, Tennessee show over the weekend.During the "We Back Tour" stop on Saturday (February 22), Aldean invited fellow country star, Kane Brown out on stage with him for "Dirt Road Anthem."

The crowd roared as Brown hopped on stage greeting Aldean with a hug. He the immediately started into the rap portion of the 2010 hit. A full video of the performance can be seen below.

This certainly isn't the first time Aldean and Brown have taken the stage together. In 2019, Brown joined Aldean on his "Ride All Night Tour" along with Carly Pearce. Outside of music, the two have become good friends over the years.

"Kane was out with us a couple years ago, and I just kinda hit it off with him. He's like my little brother, almost," Aldean previously said. "When I go on tour, I wanna be out there with guys that I like hanging out with, you know? And it doesn't hurt that Kane's on fire right now. He's as hot as it gets."

The two have also connected through having children at home. In fact, it appears the Knoxville show was actually a family affair. Aldean's wife, Brittany, shared an adorable photo of Brown's baby girl, Kingsley Rose, rocking noise-canceling headphones side stage at the show.

Brown's appearance in Knoxville came in between stops for his headlining "Worldwide Beautiful Tour." The "One Thing Right" singer launched the international tour on February 2 in Dublin, Ireland. The first show of the North American leg will be on February 29 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Tickets to the tour are available now.

Aldean kicked off the first half of his "We Back Tour" earlier this year on January 30 in Columbia, South Carolina with shows running through mid-March. He'll then take a brief break before picking the tour back up in mid-July with shows through late September. A full list of cities and dates a part of the tour can be seen here.

Joining Aldean on the first leg of the tour are supporting acts Morgan Wallen and Riley Green. The second half he'll be joined by Brett Young and Mitchell Tenpenny. Tickets to the tour are available now.
