Posted May 1st, 2014 @ 11:59am

It’s not a secret that exercise improves brain function, so it seems logical that being physically fit would improve problem solving and productivity at work. Well, according to a new study, being in shape has an even bigger impact on job performance for leaders than just being able to think better on their feet.

Researchers found that overweight leaders are often viewed as having less effective interpersonal relationships, poorer leadership abilities, and lower overall job performances. And, leaders who exercise earn an average of nine percent more than those who don’t. (Forbes)
