Stray Rescue of St. Louis presents its Urban Wanderers Art Exhibit at the Saint Louis University Museum of Art. This art exhibition is centered around beautiful works of art created by both people and rescued companion animals. Local, regional, and national artists depict a Stray Rescue dog or cat in their medium of choice, ranging from photography to painting. Dogs and cats join in the fun too, creating paintings with their paws, tails, and noses. All artwork will be available via an online auction throughout the duration of the event.
Special in-gallery events will occur throughout the exhibition, including Junior Rescuer Kids' Day on Saturday, July 12 from noon to 3pm, and the "Tail End" Closing Reception on Sunday, July 27th from noon to 4pm.
The event is free, but donations are encouraged and appreciated. All proceeds will be used to heal abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs and cats.
